Is that lift at the valve or cam? I suspect its at the valve. Something you could consider is running dual springs with what ever you run as if you break the outer, the inner may help you limp home otherwise the valve drops,,OOpps. Canted valve engine. Need to do your home work on this , its not rocket stuff. pdq67 Jan 13th, 06, 07:52 PM I wouldn't!! Go with what the cam manufacturer says to use and then if something happen's you are covered! pdq67 TexasPerfProd Jan 13th, 06, 09:04 PM it will run but as stated I wouldn't. Valves will float quickly you wont get what your paying for by going to the bigger cam. Use what the MFG says. Larger Dave Jan 13th, 06, 09:32 PM You have my permission. But from the voice of a man who has sucked more valves than there are in any given single engine I wouldn't even consider it. You generally do not scrimp on rods or valve springs unless you're idea of a good time is pulling and rebuilding motors. Larger Dave |
