I have a 68 Camaro with a black dash. Is there anyone with a black dash that could tell me the paint code of the black paint on the dash? The paint code should be on the door jam. thanks

Interior paint codes were not displayed on 1968 Camaros.

The front of the dash was painted with gloss black lacquer mixed with flatener "until the desired level of gloss is achieved" according to the R & M manual. The top of the dash was also black lacquer mixed with a "suede" additive that left a textured finish. Lacquer is gone so you will have to experiment with enamel.
