This car has been on ebay atleast 2 other times. Last time car didnt even get the opening 10,000.00 bid, Now it opens with a 16,500 and it has a bid?
Owner got pissed last time also and cancled auction. there is also some other story floating around of this car being sold from one of the Hi-Po car dealers, not sure if that ever paned out..
Looks like this has had a bad life, rode hiard, and not put away, looks as if it was left outside to die...
No Pace Car deserves to treated that way...

Certainly looks like it was always a PC by the old paint but what happened to the original tag?

I don't know much about 69's, but if you had a Z-11 pace car, why would you show everyone that there is an X-11 marking on the rear seat reinforcement?

If you look close at the photo of the supposed X11 code you can see that it is actually XO and consistant with what we have found on other Z11's on our site. I dont think I'll take the time to correct the seller. I'm affraid he will determine it must be a L89 from that information LOL.

The tag was replaced with a FAKE one.

What I don't understand is why somebody would bid that kind of money. with out checking if the car is what they say it is. thats a lot of money for a fake tag car.

Do you know this car personaly? The VIN is inline with an 03E car and the body number is between two other 03E pacecars I have tags for, one with a lower VIN, one with a higher VIN. The tag is fake, but it fits the car, so it may be a replacement for the original with all the correct (or close) info.

I have a couple of Z11's also real close made AFTER this one with 03D.

I have a norwood pace car that is 03D and it is over 800 vin numbers after this one . Something doesnt seem right.

My 03E X33 car is about 1400 after his VIN..but his Fisher chassis number is about 1600 after mine

I can MAYBE see buying a new body for it, but, this collection of rotten ruusty parts isn't worth $5k, let alone $15
