8 point cage. Buy a rule book before you do any work, the amount of points is dependent on the diameter of tubing used in certain situations.

The main hoop is going to be a minimum of 1-5/8 x .083 in 4130 (moly) and 1-5/8 x .118" in DOM. .118 DOM is usually sold as .134 becuase of mill tolerances the .134 wall is never thinner then .118
