I have a 1987 that has the large rear hatch mostly glass that is well out of alinement.

The two shocks are worn out and the bolts at the top of the glass are very rusty.

How do I adjust the hatch so the spoiler lines up?

Can I replace those bolts in the glass?

Bolts come out - careful reattaching them. But you might be able to clean them, mask & paint in place. I'll bet Eastwood Trim Black would look real good.

Struts can be bought at local auto parts shop, well worth the $65 they will run you. I'm not 100% on the adjustment (probably a power pulldown). Try thirdgen.org.

I had an '84 that lost a back window. The new glass was shaped diff. than the old and did not line up. The factory hinges were non-adjustable. Adjustable hinges were available. Insurance covered it all. with the replacement glass, it never lined up perfect, but a lot better after the hinges.
