Where is the best place to find a quality heater core? I saw a post that suggested NAPA, but they told me theirs were probably from overseas. Has anyone found a company that makes a quality core? I don't want to replace this thing again!

I know how you feel. I got one from GM but that was a few years ago if I were you I would check to see if they can still get one from GM first.

tough one... I went into cpu musclecar parts and brian sold me the one he had been saving for his own vette. It was a dead ringer for the original and very nice.

If he hadn't come through with that, I would have taken the old one to a radiator shop, they can make anything.

I've had good luck with AC/Delco replacements, at least the box may have been "Made in USA".

As JimM suggests, a good radiator repair man/woman can rejuvenate the old core.

Thanks all. I'm going from a SB to BB so rejuvenation is difficult. I'll look for an AC/Delco and let ya'll know what I find.
