I found some freeware that displays pictures. I've played with it and have something I would like everyones input on. It's not done but there is enough to see how it works. So far all the pic's are under 150K so for dialup it may be a bit slow but it only loads thumbs and 1 pic at a time... To toggle the slide show, hit your space bar. :beers:

I like it. The page is nice and clean. (not a bunch of ads that you can't even see the pic's) Cruising through was nice and easy.

Thanks Harley, I thought it was rather slick when I saw a sample of the program. Took a bit to figure out how to change colors and add my graphic though.

Anyone on dial-up have any comments? Too slow? Manageable? any problems with flash player?

Dennis, Looks good, it lets you smoothly jump around without any real "loading" lag. As you ad more categories/pics on the left, will it let you hide the pics in their own category til you click on it?..otherwise its gonna get crowded in the menu area quick.

That's all I see (Mac OS9.2, Netscape 7.0), but it is a nice self portrait.

That fooled me to start with too. You have to click on the "SF Rod and Custom".

Sorry for the confusion - Rojo got it, the folders are on the left (click on "SF Rod and Custom" will add others if this works out) and the "reflections" folder is like the home page with only the reflection picture in it.

Jake - as I add folders it will list them like it does the SF Rod and Custom and if you open one that has a lot of thumbnails or I have so many folders listed it scrolls in the example I have been referencing. That was one of the feature I really liked about this freeware.

That's actually a great thing... :D If I display shots of my car they won't end up being used as a scam auction on ebay or on someone elses web page without my approval. PM me and I'll email you the 3 maybe 4 pic's I have of that rod eville. Do you want the 3008x2000 versions? They are about 6meg each...

Ya it's backwards!! ;) So you did a screen capture and pasted it into a graphics program I'd guess. I hadn't tested it for that yet, now I know... I was happy I didn't have to disable the back button with it...
