I can say that I finaly have the car that I want to do my hot rod/pro touring project with, so my question is, I will not be using the original engine or tansmission that were born in this car, would you just store this engine and transmission on a pallett as is? so it could be rebuilt and replaced back into car later on or go with new owner or would you rebuild it now and store it for later on down the road for the situations mentioned above.

I would.

Remember, everytime somebody modifies their classic, the value of original cars goes up.

Curious, what's the driveline?

If you end up storing the original motor I definitley wouldn't rebuild it now.
