Hey Everyone,

I am trying to find out about the value of a car that I want to buy from a coworker. It is a 1969 Original SS Camaro Z28 with a 302. It is NOT the original engine :( and is in dire need of restoration. It's an all AZ car, which helps but has a good year worth of work ahead of it. Original wheels also and original yellow w/black stripes paint.

Any hints on a fair price or directions to a good resource?

I take it you mean RS/Z-28 as theres no such animal as an SS/Z-28.

Must not be a Z28 then - I do know for sure it is an SS. Wish the car was out front to go look.

Next time you see it, write down all the info that is on the trim tag under the hood, and post the info here along with the vin number. Or take a picture of the trim tag and post it here. This will be a start for us to help you determine what kind of car you really are talking about.
