Bodywork has always been black magic to me, but reading and re-reading thru tons of info on this site has put it in my head that with prep and patience even I can achieve quality results.

So, I'm about to start in on the body of my 67 and I'm shopping for a mig. there's a weldmark 135 plus that's available, it's 2 1/2 years old, seen light but steady use and is said to be in great shape. Cost is a consideration at this time and the 67's panels will be the hardest it will be used. Anybody have/use this machine?? I didn't find reference to it in the forums(maybe not a good sign). Thanks for any help.

I don't own one - but I've used one...
I think it is just about the same internals as a Lincoln 135 ??? just some cheaper accessories come with it and it sells for slightly less - this is all from memory (remember I'm older) from when I was looking for a new 120vac unit a couple years ago. Don't remember it being that different in the controls area ( but, see above statement about age playing into this)...
The one I used worked just fine. I wasn't trying anything really fancy with it, just tacking some panels in place for someone as we were fitting his car back together.
I think if you use good quality comsumables and know how the unit works then you can do anything with it any other comparable welder would do.

I have mainly Miller stuff and like it - others have Lincoln stuff and like it too. It's not as clear cut as the normal Chevy v.s. Ford thing, where one is obviously better than the other ;) , it mostly depends on your needs, the materials your welding and your skills.

If the welder is a good deal and it fits your needs, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. But, I would run a quick check with you're local welding guy to see how easy it is to get parts - if needed...

As always JMHO's
