trying to replace the exterior door handles on my 81 z28, seems that you have to take the window out. does anyone know if there is a easier way??

hi, i had a 79 camaro w/non power windows that had a broken exterior handle and i didnt take the window out. i had to remove the door panel to get to the handle from the inside. take the door panel off and see what space you have with the window up or down.

Did one on my 79 Z. No prob as long as the window is up.
