Hey,

Anyone fab together an exhaust ventilation system for their garage, couple metal tubes under the garage door.

Anybody do one real nice. got a pic?

Safe to do this???

Seems like a great source of heat also.

Types of tubing, how far out from house, etc.

It'd be great to be able to tune inside - Thanks

What I did allbeit a temporary setup was buy a couple of those flexible hoses for hooking a clothes dryer up and just ran them out under the door. I sealed them to the exaust pipes with aluminum tape. Which turned out to be a dumb idea as it got gunk on my chrome tips. I recomemd sealing it a different way. Ah well live and learn.

Just put some real exhaust ports in to door and get some of that flexible tubing and some clamps and your are ready to go. :)

Somebody sells a hose kit, with those ports, maybe eastwood. I'd add a CO detector too.

I've found that opening the garage door works pretty well.

I'm sure that works better in CA than it does in MD this time of year. :)

Also works good in TX. 70*F January weather is awesome!!

Borrowed my neighbors downspout extensions. Just return them when finished and before it rains.

I like Codi use downspout extensions only cost maybe $20 total and slide them under the garage door. The exhaust hose kits were over $100 but they do go throught the door.

I would like to have been there for that conversation...."Um, excuse me "Bob", is there a chance i could take the downspout extensions off your house and borrow them for a bit." :D

Make sure you get a carbon monoxide detector!
