Hello everyone..i just purchased a 71 SS Chevelle (project car) for my wife her project..;) ..i know this is a Camaro site...and i should not be posting pics. here...but i have seem non Camaros threads and pics..so i will also convert only in the intrest of the "people"...:) ...come on now..there are a lot of Great American Muscles Cars out there ...it just happens to be the " Camaros" are the best..:beers: ...anyway...here are some pics....
just brought it home today..Sat..1/21/06..found it in a feild behind a house.. (from a freind) there still out there..we just have to find them...

Congrats! Of course its always good to see fellow TCers bringing home any new muscle car. My buddy who i cruise with has two 71 Chevelle SS 454s. They are a cool car for sure, of course not as sexy and cool as the first gen Camaro but a great car and an icon non the less.

So thats were you have been instead of in chat. Looks like you will be busy.:waving:

nice find. chevelles are cool also. i too have one so post those resto pics when you start. im sure your wife will be saying "are you done yet?"

Hey Fast, been awhile since i talked to you guys.... Nice Find!

Is the wife going to help you work on it? Or are you really doing this for yourself?

The reason I ask is that the convertible I bought I had to my say it's my wife's car. Otherwise I would have been forced to sell something else. I just have too many cars for the room I have.

So I do all the work and set it up the way I want, including motor, paint, etc. Yet, she gets to say "it's mine". However, we really know who's car it is. But, I guess it's better to say it's hers than to not have it at all.

I asked my wife to choose which one she wanted to call her own.

She just smiled, and said "I don't want to choose - they are ALL half mine". :eek:

I'd better keep her happy. ;)

My wife also says that the next project we get is "hers". She wants a first gen Firebird or Camaro. I told her fine, but if she isn't out there turning wrenches with me, then she'll loose possession of it. We'll see what happens when the time comes. It is cool to have the ladies take an interest in our style of cars. Even cooler when they work on them.
