I've been around for a while now with no pics of the car. But I finally took some today:

A little dew was setting in before I got the pictures taken but you get the idea. I'll be working on getting a site up with more pics soon.

I have two 69 camaros, got caught in the hype of that particular year. The more and more I look at the first gens I wish I would have bought a 68 coupe instead of the 69. Not that I regret buying any of my cars.

When I look at the pic of your car it just supports my yearning for a 68. It is a very sharp ride!

Eville I am SO GLAD that you posted your Beautiful photo. That is really one nice looking ride. I just got mines back from the wire shop and was debating on painting it black like yours. This is an older photo of what mines look like

I've been keeping my eyes open for a photo of a Black Camaro so I'd know what to expect when the body shop is finished with it. Now with your photo I can make a more vivid comparison. I still havent decided yet, but your photo will sure help me make one a lot quicker!!

Thanks

I did that very same thing , when I was a teenager all I could think of was a 69 camaro and that was the first one I ever had it was a 1969 X11 SS 350 muncie 4spd 12 bolt posi , the damn thing would fly !! but as I got to looking a the 67's and 68's I started to notice thing's about my 69 that I did not like ,
#1 DOT light's 67 side's are nice and clean
#2 the steering column in my 69 camaro was the same as in my 1987 chevy truck ?? the key on 67 68 is on the dash (WHERE IT SHOULD BE)
#3 THOSE BLESSED VENT WINDOWS ,,,,,MAN
#4 the 67 68 have round gauges 69 are square
#5 the 67 console gauges are round NEATEST OF ALL
#6 the 67 door top's inside are steel gotta love that
it just kept adding up untill I just had to have a 67 boy I wish I could have got a hold of the $800.00 buck's the guy down the road wanted for the 67 RS/SS in about 1984 man that was a nice car ,
