I had my car on a chassis dyno recently. What do you think of these #'s.
Max hp of 337 at rear wheels at 5700 rpm
Torque crossed over 300 at at 3200 rpm, went up to abput 320 and dropped below 300 at 5700 rpm.

Car has run 11.60's at 117 mph with slicks.

Motor Combo is 383
Magnum 305H Comp Cam. duartion at 50 is 253, lift 525, centerline 110
Bowtie dingle plane intake
Steel Bowtie heads, some intake porting, full exhaust porting
2.05 intake and 1.60 exhaust

What kind of a dyno?
For a 253°cam and single plane intake I would expect the power peak to be a little higher, like 6500 or so. Our 331" SBC made peak power at 7100 rpm on the chassis dyno with a 240° cam.

Sounds pretty low on the dyno for the ET...

If your running mid to high 11's ... I would think your car should be closer to 400 rwhp and rwtq...

Depending on where you are located in Virginia... There is a great dyno shop just outside of VA in Durham, NC... Called... Carolina Auto Masters... (www.carolinaautomasters.com) ... They use a Dynojet and it's very accurate...

You probably ran it on a Mustang dyno. I ran my car on one recently and I don't think I hit 350 RWHP and it said peak power was at 6,000 rpm. I just ran my car at the track yesterday and it went 11.43 at 119 MPH. I could have gotten in to the 11.30's but the officials told me to slow it down because I don't have a rollbar, etc.

Don't worry about the dyno number just use that as your baseline and tune from there. If you want bragging rights run it on a Dynojet.
