Good day. Have a 10.1 CR 350. Speed Pro flat tops with a hydraulic extreme energy 274 cam, right now I have a set of 170 cc S/R torquers with a mild port job. 1.52 roller tip rockers and a Q-jet RPM manifold. Plan on using a Q-jet once I get it running. Trans is a turbo 350 with a 2800 stall & 3.73 posi in the rear. This will be a mainly street car with a weekend or two at the 1/4 mile. Just for fun.
So, I have the opportunity to get a new (but secondhand) set of 062 vortecs and a pro series dual plain intake, complete with the GM self aligning rockers.
Looking for opinions on which would be the better combo of heads and intake. Would the vortecs perform better than the S/R torquers or should I just leave it alone? I have not heard too much about this intake either, how is it compaired to the edelbrock Q-jet RPM?
Thanks in advance for any replies.
Phil
