i have a 69 camaro with original 307, noticed while engine running @ night while dark under the hood that i could see the spark plugs glowing a bluish color and some of my spark plug wires arcing @ times. this car still has the points ignition, would an 8mm accell wire be too much, and maybe cause this condition. the wires are new, and plugs are 7 to 8 mths old. any body ever experience this b4.

I've seen the arcing between the wires before, but its always been because the wires were old and needed to be replaced, it was in a pretty severe case of old wires though - with new wires, I don't know why it would be doing that - Im certain smarter folks will chime in any minute.

kinda unusual to see it, i never have, but standard resister spark plugs have a small gap inside, they certainly could glow.
You should not see any arcing off good wires.

When you replaced the spark plug wires, did you also replace the boots? If you used your old ones, they might have tiny cracks in them.

bad wires replace em
try the accel 8.8 race wires.
cheaper wires can and will do this .
Causing some spark energy to be lost at the plugs.
