I'm installing a 6AL ProcompElectronics ignition box. My distributor is a GM HEI 4 pin module. There is a 3 wire (brown, black, yellow) harness coming out of the distributor. Which of these three does the purple & green wire coming from the ignition box connect to?

I've looked at the MSD site, but, because this is a generic ignition box modeled after the 6AL, there is not a PN8860 connector between them. Also the MSD site has the 4 pin module replaced. Do I need to do this?

Okay, I figured it out. I removed the 4 pin module and condensor from the distributor per the MSD instructions and wired the purple & green wire inside the distributor to the 2 wires on the pickup trigger. Everything fired up perfectly and now my Tach works too!!
