Hello Everyone,

I just recently discovered that I have a pinhole leak in my gas tank and figure it's time to just go ahead and be safe and replace the whole thing. I've read that the Repo's have the filler valve a little high, but overall wasn't a big deal. But my question is, how hard is this to do and if anyone has done it before, what advice can you give me, both on the tank, the sending unit, fuel line connections, etc.

dwight it should be a breeze, I did it graemlins/clonk.gif and Im not a mechanic. I had patches in my tank I didnt trust. There are some pics here in the link below.
and the process has been discussed alot, so instead of trying to type it all out, do a search for 'gas tank' (upper right corner of every page) and you will find tons of comments with the best way to do it, thats where I learned it too.
