The hazard lights on my car won't work. It seems the button on the steering column is suck/broken. What part will fix this? Is this incorporated into the turn signal switch?

Yes..... You will need to replace the turn signal switch in order to fix the problem, if it is necessary to replace the switch. Take off your steering wheel, canceling cam and look to see why the Hazard button is stuck. You just might be able to free the switch. If it is broken or cracked, it will have to be replaced.

The 1967-68 steering columns are a lot easier to disassemble and repair than the 1969 and later function locking columns. However, there is a trick to the earlier columns. I suggest taking a look at the following:

I assume that you have a standard (non-adjustable - not a tilt) column. The tilt column is different. I hope that you have a standard column since I haven't written a paper on the repair of a 1967-68 tilt column as yet.

BTW, even though a lot of my papers indicate the Chevelle A-car, the disassembly and repair of the steering column itself is the same (A-car to F-car). That is something that Saginaw was pretty good at - that is standardization of parts throughout General Motors vehicles.

I pity the poor enthusiasts 30 years from now when they try and service their "collectible vehicles from the 1990s etc." (If there are any.) With global sourcing, there are less and less parts that are interchangeable.
