Could anyone tell me if shifter holes in the tunnel on a 69 camaro are the same,if it came with either a 3 speed or 4 speed? also what would the length of the driveshaft be for a 4 speed with a muncie? Is there a differance between a z-bar for small block or big block, and what is it? Thanks for any help!!!

Bobby welcome to Team Camaro! You can use the search function to see if the driveshaft length has been posted before, but I can tell you they are the same for 3-speed, 4-speed, Glide, and TH350 equipped cars. The TH400 was different.
Shifter hole is the same location 3-speed or 4-speed.
Z-bars are different; the BB bar is 3/4 or so longer to accomodate the offset of the BB mounts.

To add, s/b z-bar is 9"...b/b is 9.5". The clutch linkage is different, but for the life of me, I can't figure out why the s/b linkage won't work.
The shifter is a different story. The shifter is the same, but the bracket and linkage is different. Since, as Eric said, the b/b is shifted to the pass side, the bracket must be changed in order for the stick to fit properly through the shifter hole. Now the shifter is about 1/2" farther away from the tranny, so slightly different linkage is necessary. I've heard that small block linkage will "work" on b/b, but I never tried it.

Driveshaft lenth for TH350, PG, 3-speed and 4-speed is 49.96" for TH400 the lenth is 49.30". The hole is different for std 3-speed and 4-speeds. 3-speeds used the same hole like 67-68 manual trans with that bracket that bolts to the c-member. 4-speeds used the hurst and the torched out hole.
