O.K..67 camaro bought with new 1/4 pannels already installed. but when it was done, previous owner neglected to replace the outer wheel wells and it seems as if they were just rolled back to allow for the pannels. then that thick black auto caulk/seam sealer was used to fill in. It seems unlikley that these can be replaced without the panels removed however I wondered if anybody has incountered this?? and if so what have been some solutions. this will be a driver so show quality is not desired but would like a decent seal to prevent dirt and grime from being thrown in to the trunk..Any sugestions?????sorry so long but needed to describe my situation...thanks guys

There is no other solution to your problem other than removing the 1/4 panels and then replacing the outer wheelhouses. They weld to both the 1/4 panel and the inner wheelhouse.

Be sure to check the wheel house extension behind it. If the outer wheel well is shot, chances are it is too. I just replaced both and the trunk pan in my 67.
