I have a couple of questions about the low fuel circuit diagram that was posted by SOA-Nova back in Nov. 05
http://image55.webshots.com/55/5/49/7/503354907kYFYOz_fs.jpg

1. Sender Input to Q1, is this the tan wire that is connected to the fuel level sender in the tank of a 68?

2. If a radio shack led was used for the indicator lamp, would this change the operation of the circuit?

3. There are two transistors Q1 and Q2 on the diagram but on the parts list only Q1 is listed?

4. Would this circuit work on an Autometer gauge with a oem type sending unit in the tank?

Thanks for any help, as you can tell I'm not an electronic expert.

I tried the link you had and I was unauthorized to view ?. I think webshots changes some stuff or possibly it was a link to the full size view (for some reasons I have problems posting links to them also).

Here is a current link as of two minutes ago:

It has 4 pages of stuff.

2. I would think an LED should be able to be substituted for an LED but you would probably have to add an inline resistor to drop the voltage down as the LED only requires a few volts to work.
