I have a 1993 camaro, V6 3.4 liter, automatic transmittion. the car wont start. the starter is good. I checked the starter relay and I found out that there is no ground going to the relay, i grounded it using a test light, it starts but it wont idle. it dies after a few seconds. can someone please tell me wat could be the cause of this and wat can i do to fix this?

does the car crank? just saying that it doesnt start, could mean that it turns over but will not fire, or that it doesnt turn over (maybe theres a bunch of clicks?)
the starter solenoid is bolted to the starter and then the block, so it should be very well grounded, your problem might be that your missing some engine grounds

You are looking in the wrong direction...If your car starts but, then quits, you have an electrical or some other problem wrong with the engine. Your starter is fine. Start looking for loose connections around your distributor. Check your vacuum hoses, make sure they are connected. Last but not least, check for a fuel delivery problem such as your fuel pump.
