Can anyone tell me if the partial vin is in the same place on ANY 396? If so, are they all down adjacent to the oil filter or is this just 375 HP. cars? Any input will be greatly appreciated.

I figured as much, was just wishful thinking. davidplz Feb 3rd, 06, 10:20 AM I have a Norwood built 69 rs/ss L78 casting date on block is 12-20-68, build date on motor is 1-04 69 build date on car is third week in January. With the motor out of the car, and the paint off the block , with good lighting I was able to read all the vin by the oil filter pad. Hope this helps. | ||
