I'm not sure if this belongs in the tranny section or the performance section. I broke the trigger on my B&M Hammer shifter, you know, the little flap you got to pull up to get it out of park and into drive. Should I just contact B&M to see if they service it or should I improvise? It looks like it is white or pot metal. Phil

I would call B&M I believe they either have a replacement part for that or you can send it in for repair. White or pot metal is hard to weld, although you could try an epoxy I thing under the strain it would fail.

I did that same thing years ago, but the piece on my shifter was plastic. I simply took a piece of wood and made one. It looked just like the original and held up until I took it out of the car (over 10 years). Course, you would need a bandsaw to do this. Just an idea.
