This site is awesome... thank you all...

Anyway, I have a 68 with AC. This week Im doing the direct fit brakes disc conversion, and next week is the Hotchkis suspension, 3rd week is the ZZ4 crate motor and custom powerglide set-up. The 3rd week is the new paint job and interior. My question (s):

1. what ignition stuff do I need to order to make the ZZ4 work with my now points ignition?

2. Due to the 2inch drop in the front, should I get shorty headers or full? Whick kind work the best with my set-up, and will not ground out? What coatings work best? What mufflers sound the meanest? I plan on doing the hot cam also...

The main problem with factory A/C is the "suitcase" attached to the passenger side firewall. Only a couple of full length headers will clear the suitcase and I've yet to find any shortys that will. Then add in a droped suspension with full lengths and you may have a speedbump/roadkill catcher. There are custom headers available, guys please chime in with those suppliers. Here's a link to a solution that works "for me".
