Which headers will fit on a 68 camaro with AC on a ZZ4? The Thorley Tri-y's will fit non AC cars. Am I stuck with the Thorley center dump block huggers? I need to order soon, please let me know if anyone has luck with any kinds... Thanks.

I think I ran the Hooker 2451 headers on my old 68 with a 94 LT1 in it. I need to see if I can find some old info to make sure that's the right model #.

Yup, that's the number, Hooker 2451. They fit AC and they fit PS(it's real close though. They are real close to the AC box so you might need to run a small piece of header wrap or heat shielding to protect the AC box.

No, my car was stock height. The passenger side header was up pretty tight to the body so no ground clearance problems on that side. I think the driver's side was a little lower. I'll check to see if I have any decent pictures showing the headers.

My 69 has Thorley headers and I have air. I can't remember the part number and I know I had to order a bracket but mine fit fine with a small block. :thumbsup:

I ordered the ceramic coated Hooker 2451 headers. I hope they dont scrape too bad with the 2" drop. :rolleyes:
