Does anyone have any experience with the Cloyes two peice timing cover for a SBC?

Does this cover allow you to replace the cam without removing the timing cover/pan? Summit implies that you can, but the Cloyes catalog on their website (2002) implies that you can only adjust the cam timing...
If you've got one or used one I'd appreicate your thoughts.

You can adjust Cam timing only with that cover, Summit has a nice 2 piece cover you can change the cam with. Part# SUM-6312

Depending upon were the two pieces go together determines access to the cam. Most two piece covers only allow you to pull the front of the motor off without dropping the pan. Dropping the pan often required lifting the engine enough to clear cross member to get pan clearance, so a two piece is a definite improvement over a stock one piece design.
Generally you have to buy the three piece cover to swap a cam without pulling more than the water pump. I purchased CompCams three piece for that reason, and I am very happy with it, no leaks, very well made.

I have the MR Gasket two piece cover, it totally would allow you to change the cam, heck even the crank gear if you needed to but dang does it suck at sealing. Of course I attempted to replace the outer cover by just changing the cork gasket with no sealer as per Mr Gaskets directions but it leaks. If you do use this cover be sure to use sealant :)
Oh ya it does require you to remove the water pump AND the harmonic balancer. I think it retails fo about $40 at summit
