What is the correct situation with the bumper jack hook for a '69 with an endura front bumper.

Do you need, or did the cars come equipped with the special hook (VE3?) for the front endura bumper plus the regular '69 hook for the rear? Or did the cars come equipped from the factory with only the endura jack hook?

I have the Z-10 with a endura front bumper and only have the regular hook. I know I need the endura one, but if the car came equipped with both, then how did they store them?

Any body got any opinions or info?

Jim,

Let me make sure I understand this fully. That is the VE3 jack hook that is for the endura bumper that you use for both of the bumpers (also has Camaro 69UN on the one side and VE3 on the other)? Do you know if that is the way it came from the factory (i.e. only the VE3 and not two jack hooks)? All the VE3's I have seen are blue. Any reasoning on that?

Bruse I honestly dont know for sure, this is what was in my trunk when I got my car back in 02. Im guessing Chev would have rivited them together so as not to loose either part but again Im not totally sure. Ive not even tried to use mine since I carry a small bottle jack so I dont squish the bumper or have it slip and dent the body or grille.
I painted mine blue to match my interior color, again not sure what 'correct' color should be. Maybe check over at CRG for their imput. :)
