what is the best way to remove the heater core cover on a 68 camaro with a bigblock? It
seems to me you have to remove the inner fender, I cant get to the nuts by the blower motor. any info will be helpful

The heater core is inside the passenger compartment. The fender needs to be removed to get to the Blower motor.

ie, you dont have to remove the fender to change the heater core. Do a search in heating and cooling on heater core replacement and youll get a detailed description on how to change it.

The heater core comes out from the inside of the car, so you do not have to remove the inner fender. The tricky part is getting to and removing all the nuts holding on the heater box. The hardest nut to remove is the one just above the frame rail, inside the fender. It could be done with a box wrench over the nut and alot of maneuvering in such a small space.
You do not have to remove the two small screws around the blower motor.
