I am new to this site, I have a 69 rs/ss 396 equipped with frt disc,a/c,th400,vigilites,rear fold down seat,headlight washers,houndstooth interior.Unfortunately it is'nt the original motor...I really appreciate the a/c in South Texas but it looks so bulky in the engine compartment. Should I leave it or how about a later model compressor? What should I do?

If I had a true big block RS/SS 69 Camaro, I'd keep her as original as possible. Don't forget there were only about 16,000 big block Camaros made in 69,..and they're pulling some big jack in the market.

Also, everytime someone 'modifies' their Camaro, the price of original cars goes up a fraction.

My opinion.

I would leave it alone also, especially if its all there and working.
