What kind of pressures will the high and return hoses see on a stock P/S pump? The application is for a 69 Camaro, thanks.

All of the GM/Saginaw Steering Gear production power steering pumps, gears, and pressure hoses before 1970 were validated to 1350 psi. All Saginaw parts 1970 and later were validated to 1500 psi. I can't speak for aftermarket parts.

The return line hose and clamps were tested at 50 psi (as I remember). But it could have been 25 psi. You really can't generate any pressure in a return line unless you start your car at -20 F.
