allright heres the propblem I have a 79 berilaneta with the th350 that the shift cable went out on. I wen to down to napa and got the replacement part but unfortulently the one listed in their books was the wrong one. it was 2 inches to long and caused problems with instalation and after I made it fit it would not shift properly. since then I have been working with napa to find the correct shift cable but no such luck. I was wondering if anybody has any ideas about why this shift cable is not the one listed in the book and if anyone could suggest an alternative source to get the correct part. The cable that came off was 30 inches long with about (can't get exact measurment cause it is binded up) 2-2 1/2 inches of travel. any help will be greatly apreciated.
