Anyone know if there is a way to take pitting out of chrome without having to re-chrome? Any type of product or any tricks?

Any type of product or any tricks? Kyvox May 22nd, 03, 04:13 PM It depends on how deep the pitting is, and what the base metal is. On a bumper, try OOOO steel wool with some WD40, followed with chrome polish. If your talking about pitted pot metal (tail light housings), forget it, nothing will take it out.
