I have my 67 nearing the end of the bodywork phase, and I have a question. I plan to pre-drill all of my molding holes prior to paint. I have a set of wheel well moldings, and a set of the rocker moldings (spear type). Was there ever a time when these were used at the same time on the same car. I have seen many with one or the other, but I don't recall ever seeing both at the same time. I know my car is a plain Jane, so maybe it never had either. I would like to put both on, but in keeping with a somewhat original look, I want to make sure that this combo been done so I can see what it might look like. Yes, my car has a cowl hood and spoiler, so I have obviously decided that original isn't a must, but I do not want the moldings to be an eyesore.

So, has anyone used/seen both, or is that a combo that no one ever uses. Please don't say it is my car and to do whatever I want. I don't mind being original, but I don't want it to look stupid. I "think" it would look good, but to see it would be great. Thanks

Spears were on all cars, well moldings were an option. Yes you could have both. well molding on 69s at least included other trim pieces. You should install all the trim parts for that option.

From the CRG site:

Z21 option
Exterior Style Trim Group: bright belt
moldings, bright wheel opening
moldings, bright drip moldings
(coupe), paint stripe (67)
