Hi i have a 67 camaro non rear spoiler deck lid.The problem i have is the lid on the rear right if you are standing behind the car is sitting about 3/8" of an inch higher than it should be.The left side of the deck lid is flush with the quarter panel.I have tried to adjust the depth of the lock catch but with no success any help would be appreciated thanks Curt

Open your deck lid and give it a twist. Or post a pic and i can help further.

When you give it that twist be prepared for the paint to crack around where the skin is wraped around the inner structure.

heres a less invasive way. take a 6 to 8 inch 2x4, wrap it in an old tshirt or rag. place it in the center of the trunk lip along the side of the high spot on the lid. then press down VERY GENTLY on the lip with your hand, dont press hard it dosnt take much and if you press too much it will crack the paint and raise the center of the lid too high. if the entire lid is high on that side you might have to pull the lid off and try to tweek the trunk ext arm.
