View Full Version : History Channel TV show Chevelle restoration/modifictaion

For those who are interetsed there will be a new TV show premiering on the History Channel this Sunday at 11:00 p.m. (PT/ET) called "Rides Reunited". This pilot episode features the build up and modernization of a 70 Chevelle for an unsuspecting owner. The show is along the lines of Overhaulin but a bit more of something you would find on the History Channel ( if that makes any sense).
We were asked to get involved by contributing one of our Elite TKO transmission kits for the 68-72 Chevelles.
The show covers some hisitory of the Chevelle, interviews with GM designers, and also the modification of the Chevelle (disc brakes, new motor, 5 speed transmission, suspension, paint and body, etc.).

Jim, thanks for the info, I'll have to check it out...

I want to take this opportunity to let you know that um..um..um, I too am doing um..um a backyard mechanic television show on how to modify um..um a 69 camaro from an M21 to a TKO 600, yeah yeah that's the ticket, and um I was wondering if you'd like to get involved by contributing a brand spankin new TKO? :)

Don't be hatin' me, thought it would be worth a try :)

I was thinking the same thing.. but I would settle for a used one...

just curious if the FREE advertising these misc parts companys receieve is justified by there contributing parts or are tax right offs involved as well
