I sent my crossram out to Camaro hi-performance a few weeks ago to get restored. When I got home, it was here waiting for me (on the porch!!!) I was very nervous about opening it. Thinking that it wouldn't look like I had pictured it looking when I got it back. Jerry MacNeish was a great guy to deal with; and the price was great for the work that was done. He quoted me a ballpark price on the phone and that is pretty much what it cost me for the work.
Anyway ; I finally opened the box and could not believe how nice the intake looked. This intake looks like it was cast yesterday. All of the detail kinda stands out now. It is truely a trophy. I always believe that a person's work is their indorsment, and this is a prime example of a true craftsman. I want to thank this sight for sending me to Jerry for the work I needed done. This could have went two ways; and I am very happy that things went great for me.
I will try to get a few pictures up in a little bit..Johnny

I just had MacNeish do a PB booster for me. It is perfect. I have a carb, set of exhaust manifolds and a distributor that he did too. All of his work has been excellant. I highly recomend him. He even authenicated and documented a 69 L78 Chevelle for me.
Do you have the carbs for the intake?

Thanks Jody for hosting the pictures. I am now debating weather to try to sell it on ebay now or go ahead and get it documented by Wayne Gwinne before trying to sell it. I have talked to him online a few times and he told me some interesting things about this intake. I Need to see what the documentation is gonna cost. I honestly would LOVE to run this intake on my 355, but that wouldn't make much since. I am thinking about maybe getting one of the knock-offs later on to run. One of the Offinhousers or an old Edlbrock would suit me just fine. I'm kinda on that dual carb kick right now. Maybe it will pass...Johnny

Those are nice Camarosrus. Did you do the work yourself or send them out to have them done? I have done a bit of bead blasting. Just the glass powder bead. It works pretty good on intakes, but I was a little cautious with this intake. I sent it out with the chevy orange paint still on it. Maybe all they did was blast it. I don't know, but I think it turned out great. Johnny

I had them done around Seattle at different rebuild shops ............either shotblasted or tumbled

Just try to RE-make the point that there are closer, less expensive alternatives for RESKINNING, other than Jerry's place.....................
