*A note from MartinSR:
I feel that anyone can do restoration work. As far as I am concerned, the only difference between waxing your car and doing a full show quality restoration, is the time it takes to do it. It is that simple, restoring a car is not one big procedure, it is many little ones. Every one of us has the power and talent to do each of these tiny steps. All you have to do is learn and do each step, one at a time. You never have to go over your head if you take each procedure and break it down into the size you can handle. Restoration work is actually the easiest work you can do on a car. Working day to day in a collision or mechanical shop, that takes a bunch of skills that are hard learned. But to do a full on restoration, I am talking 100 point show car is a breeze, all there is to it is spending the time to do it. Don't let anyone tell you different. You have all the time in the world out there in your garage, take each step one at a time and soon you will be doing restoration work you thought was out of your reach.

Good luck and have fun!
Brian Martin
