Does original shock plates have a part number stamped them and if so what is it. Im refering to multi leaf plates for a 68. thanks, Kevin

Don't believe so. I've never seen any numbers on the shock plates.

They are still available from GM (just picked up a set) the part number is not stamped on the plate but the numbers are 00330263(LH) and 00330264(RH)

68-69 mono shock plates have numbers stamped on them.

This place sells GM (and I suppose some GM approved) parts. It's a good source for a lot of part numbers in case you want to scoot down to your local GM parts counter to get the part(s) instead:

The repro ones are nice, but the steel is a bit thinker than the orig. ones
