Well, I am the very proud owner of one bad *** car... my third midlife crisis is almost complete. One problem - the front windshield is optically distorted in certain areas, including right in front of my face! It is a horizontal "wave" in some areas, and diagonal in others. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, what did you do about it? Checking the other boards, it does appear that some are much worse than others. What does GM have to say about it??

My wife has a 98 Trans Am; it's the same way. She doesn't notice it (her eyes are bad) but I get a headache after 10-15 minutes of driving. Those windshields are pretty laid back; I'm sure that's part of the problem. What does the dealer say?

The ONLY way to get rid of the distortion is to replace the windshield. The distortion you see is a manufacturing defect which does happen occassionally.
