Billy,

K13 8 3932388= Nov. 13th '68 casting.

That's about all I can help you with.

I've been able to decode a little myself -
on the block- casting # 3932388 = 1969 350 300 HP, but casting date = Nov. 13 1968
Manifold- casting # = 1969 4 barrell Rochester, but casting date Dec 2 1968

can these casting dates be correct for a 1969 w/ a build date of 11D -4th week Nov. 1969?

Billy,

The '69 model was available from around late Aug. of '68 to early Nov. of '69.

You have an early VIN# and no X code on your Norwood trim tag.

The build date on your car is the 4th week of Nov., 1968. Your date codes are perfect.

Your date codes are perfect.
I don't agree with that. :) Block matches up the the car fine.
But intake and carb have been replaced (intake is after engine, not possible, and carb is a month later).

Kurt,
I was just responding to this previous post and was guessing a Dec. 2nd carb would be very possible for an 11D build. I didn't know the carb was a month later.

I agree the intake doesn't match.

Thanks for the clarification.
