I ordered a pair of JCW 3 leaf replacement of orginial mono springs for 68 nova in december 05, after 2 months of postponed shipping dates, I recieved an email saying they where no longer avaible. Do anyone know where else I can purchase these springs for around the same money? I think JCW price was about $67.99 per spring.
Thanks

Wow,
Discontinued? That's interesting. I have the JCW springs. You can get a similar (if not the same) spring from Vette Brakes. The price is higher though (About $220 or so for the set)

I figure JCW finally sold all of the cheap, 3-leaf mono replacement excess inventory whoever was supplying them had so I don't know where to find them.
I want to say mine came from JCW in an S&R Spring or something like that box??
They were good value for the BUCK and I have them, although modified, on my car now..

I ordered some 4 leafs from Tamraz for my 67. They arrived less than a week later. They are very nice springs and not very expensive. I called first to make sure they had them in stock.
I am very happy with these springs. They are manufactured by JRS #80-335-252. The front part of the spring is stiffer than the rear which helps control wheel hop. The ride height is 15¾ inches from the center of the wheel to the fender lip. It rides just a bit higher than the old mono leaf springs
Tamraz has these springs on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Camaro-Trans-Am-4-leaf-rear-springs-pair-1967-to-1981_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33584QQitemZ804088 1155QQrdZ1).
Here are some pictures I took while installing these springs: 8.5 install (http://geocities.com/sdampier@sbcglobal.net/Team_Camaro/Rear)

I purchased a set of 3 leaf mono replacement springs (#21-245) from St. Louis Spring (in St. Louis MO). Their price was $78 each. I would check some local spring suppliers in your area.

Mike, that is the same part number as the VB springs.

Steve, very nice. However those are multi perches, correct? Sure would hate to see those 4 leaf in a mono perch.

Actually I don't think the VB spring PN's were generally known on TC until I got a set and installed them 3 years ago.
