I'm about to go crazy :confused:

Can't figure out how the switch should be operated by the shifter. I bought a used horseshoe shifter from another 69 Camaro owner and now i'm working on getting the backup light working. I finally figured out how the switch move, but i can't see how the shift lever should move the switch

Please help me understand :)

Martin, Im not sure this pic helps but the switch bolts inside the shifter, you can see it in this pic with the elec. tabs in brass showing. It should just bolt in the holes allowed for it. Does this help?

I do have the switch and i do know how it is mounted to the shifter, but the pic doesn't help me to see how the the white tab on the switch is moved with the shift lever
