Is 19L529152 in the database? If so it's time to re-unite...........

I don't think the guy questioning the numbers in the Ebay auction realizes it's an LA car.

Why are those #s all different fonts and out of line?

Only 155 VIN's before mine and yes, the FONTs look fine and correct for that period LA production car (mine are similar).

Here's my block stamp & VIN for comparison (same date engine stamp):

This company is about 25 miles from me. They are probably the biggest first gen Camaro place in my area. If it is the same place - thier site is http://www.camaros.com/. I didn't see it listed in the ebay auction. I think it helps to know that it is a long time business selling the block. I've actually never bought anything from them as my 69 is still sitting waiting to be restored.

I wouldn't assume anything. Though I believe that block to be original it does not mean that you should ever just take anyones word for it no matter how long they have been in business . It is always good to take pictures and post them here for the in put of the fellow forum members .
I have bought some stuff from them.

I just scanned a friends POP today...it is L529291 it has a V0328DZ motor and a BU0410G rear end and a P9C28 trans..so between everyone here it sounds like the engine stamp is dead on for date..16 cars in front of sandiegoZ28 !

The stamping on the block in question is original. However, after looking closer at the stamping of the VIN, it looks more like this block is from
19L528152 which would be 1000 cars earlier than discussed.

Jonesy..it still looks like a 9 to me,which means nothing because I am half blind...but if you are correct it makes this block 6 from my Van Nuys Z
