My '67 ragtop pulls left big time on initial brake application.Car has been converted to power disc in the front, drum in the rear.Booster, master cyl, porption valve, calipers and rotors all new.system bleed numerous times . pedel fine shortly after start up after vaccunm builds. While driving, the car pulls hard left on initial braking but then ok after immediately returning steering from the pull. Is there a way to adjust left/right front brake bias on front disc?

Thanks

It is pulling one way or the other because either the rotor was not machined square with the spindle, is heat checked, or you have some other defect which cause the brake to grab (pull). If rotors were not chucked in lathe correctly by the operator they would wander back and forth when rotated as viewed from straight on. Need to identify problem and fix it as there isn't an adjustment.

Additionaly a worn pitmnan arm joint, or tie rod joint could also account for supprises but not just when braking.

How's the rag-joint b/c when it wears "some" and get's a bit sloppy, it will cause wander upon braking too..

Thanks for the ideas guy's.. Guess I'll start by rechecking torque on all steering joints then maybe pull the rotors and have then checked for true and thickness. Any other ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jerry
