Does anybody know if replacement cables are made for 1969 Camaro
non a/c kick panels? I'd hate to buy new kick panels just to replace the upper cables

I don't think so. I bought a set of kick panels on ebay for the cables.

It's on my plan to reproduce the cables. First prototype was not what I wanted. Have to make another mold. Picking up the replacement wire next week.

The cables that are used on the repo kick panels are darn near useless. I too would like to see somebody step up with something that functions like the originals.

I used my originals the only thing wrong with them was the outer plastic housing was cracked. I sliped heat shrink tubing over them it worked out pretty good.
