I just picked up some revalved Bilstein's from Hotchkis along with some springs. The rears have boots with them, but the fronts do not. They are all apparently like this. Is there a reason for this, because it seems pretty cheap for a $90 shock to not come with a boot, unless there's some reason to not have one? They apparently don't offer one separately, so that suggests there's some reason to not have one.

When you buy a Bilstein or Koni shock you are paying for the quality and performance built into the product. No Camaro front shock would get a boot anyway. The shock is positioned inside the coil spring and there really isn't any room for it.
