Just noticed we've got several nice above average, some high end, cars in adds for the ol' "BIN" low price of $5k to $7k again! These guys won't quit! I've reported it for the third time now.

It's getting ridiculous for us guys trying to sell nice higher end cars with this kinda crap continuing! If you recall, I had mine hijacked a few days ago by one of these guys...

It's almost to the point where we'll have the guys with real cash staying away because of this. Not sure where it will go...but the good stuff eventually will stay away from ebay if it continues.

Thanks for letting me vent....

I don't think we need 2-3 of these threads every day saying that there are E-Bay scams going on. I know it's frustrating, but why not post your concerns in one of the many other threads about the same topic?

/cheers!

I'm with Randy on this, and I too report a few to e-bay and the ads are usually subsequently pulled. But this particular fraud has increased 10 fold in in the last year so apparently these crooks are having success with their "please e-mail me directly" ads.

If nobody does anything, then selling a car on-line will become almost impossible.

My opinion.

may be the sellers should edit thier pictures before uploading them to have some text on thier pictures like " this item is being sold by (ebay users name) if being offered by a diffrent sellers name the auction is a scam" It would mak the scammers go through more work to hijack peoples auctions.
